近日，由格鲁吉亚国家葡萄酒局合作公司“Swirl Wine Group”组织的格鲁吉亚葡萄酒品鉴会在英国伦敦举办，英国葡萄酒行业人士以及媒体代表参加了此次活动。

品鉴的葡萄酒都是采用经典和传统的格鲁吉亚方法制作而成。品鉴会由英国葡萄酒大师Sarah Abbott的“Swirl Wine Group”负责人主持。据她介绍，今年格鲁吉亚葡萄酒在英国取得了成功。 

“格鲁吉亚葡萄酒今年在英国取得了不错的成绩。格鲁吉亚葡萄酒对于许多英国进口商和葡萄酒贸易商来说，是新颖的。他们中的许多人将格鲁吉亚葡萄酒作为他们新的选品，并签订了合同，且已经计划未来的合作。格鲁吉亚各类红葡萄酒，白葡萄酒和陶罐葡萄酒在节日中有非常好的代表性。虽然格鲁吉亚葡萄酒对我们来说是新的，但我们看到酿酒师越来越感兴趣”Sara Abbott说。

在“Swirl Wine Group”的支持和当地进口商的组织下，“Qvevri葡萄酒节”将于今年11月8日在伦敦举行，这将是另一项促进格鲁吉亚葡萄酒普及和认知的重要活动。

根据格鲁吉亚国家葡萄酒局市场营销和公关部主任Irakli Cholobargi的说法，在英国展示格鲁吉亚葡萄酒非常重要，因为这是世界上最大的进口国之一。

“自2014年以来，英国已成为格鲁吉亚葡萄酒出口的潜在增长战略市场。根据该机构的营销战略，格鲁吉亚公司在英国参加各种展览和品鉴活动，格鲁吉亚为英国葡萄酒专业人士组织葡萄酒之旅。这类活动旨在提高伦敦对格鲁吉亚葡萄酒的认识和普及，在欧洲的葡萄酒行业这被认为是决定趋势的趋势。”Irakli cholobargiam表示。 

根据今年9个月的数据，格鲁吉亚向英国出口了6.8万瓶葡萄酒，比去年同期高出22％。

Georgian wine tasting was held for the wine industry and media representatives in London, the capital of UK.

The event was organized by the National Wine Agency contractor company"Swirl Wine Group" and there were various wines made with classic andtraditional Georgian methods represented at the event.

Tasting was lead by the head of "Swirl Wine Group", British master of wine Sarah Abbott. According to her, this year was successful for Georgian wine in the UK. 

“Georgian wines had fantastic results in the UK this year. British importers and wine traders discovered new Georgian wines, new contracts were signed and future cooperation was planned. Georgian wine variety of red, white and amber wines were widely represented at the festival. Georgian wine is new for us, but we see growing interest from the winemakers "- stated Sara Abbott.

With the support of “Swirl Wine Group " and organization of the local importers, “The Qvevri Wine Festival” will be held in London on November 8 this year, which will be another important activity for promoting Georgian wine popularization and awareness.
According to Irakli Cholobargi, Head of Marketing and PR Department of the National Wine Agency, presentation of Georgian wine in Great Britain is very important because this country is one of the biggest importer in the world.

"With the agreement of the National Wine Agency and the wine industry,since 2014 the UK has emerged as potentially growing, strategic market for Georgian wine exports. According to the marketing strategy of the Agency,Georgian companies participate in the variety of exhibitions and tastings in the UK, wine tours are organized in Georgia for English wine professionals.  This kind of activities are aimed at raising awareness and popularization of Georgian wines in London, the city, which is considered to bea trend in Europe to determine the trends in  the wine industry "-said Irakli cholobargiam.

According to the data of 9 months of the current year, 68 thousand bottles of wine are exported from Georgia to the UK, which is 22% higher than the same period last year.
